If it doesn't work for your team, you get your money back.
Two stacked guarantees: a 60% adoption guarantee on every paid plan, plus a 14-day satisfaction window for everything the adoption guarantee doesn't cover. No forms, no haggling.

Section 1 The short version
In short: We don't keep your money if OKRs Tool doesn't work for your team. Two guarantees cover almost every situation.
Most software refund policies are written as if they hope you don't read them. Ours is the opposite — we want you to know exactly what we promise, what's covered, and how to invoke it.
60% adoption guarantee
If your team doesn't hit 60% adoption in 30 days, full refund — no questions.
14-day satisfaction guarantee
Changed your mind for any reason? Full refund within 14 days of purchase.
Technical issues
If something breaks and we can't fix it, full refund — even after 14 days.
One-email process
No forms, no disputes. Email and we process within 10 business days.
Section 2 60% adoption guarantee
This is the headline promise. It's on every paid plan — Scale and Expand — and it works like this:
What "adoption" means. At least 60% of users invited to your OKRs Tool workspace have logged in and contributed to an OKR (created an objective, updated a Key Result, or completed a check-in) within 30 days of your billing start date.
What you get if you don't hit it. A full refund of your subscription fee, no prorating, no deductions, no exit interview required. Just email us.
How we measure it. We pull adoption numbers from your workspace activity log on day 31. If you're below 60%, we proactively reach out and offer the refund — you don't have to ask.
Why we offer this. Most OKR rollouts die because nobody uses the tool. If that happens to you on our watch, we'd rather refund you than collect on a product that isn't working.
Important caveats
The 60% adoption guarantee assumes you've actually rolled OKRs Tool out to your team — invited users, created at least one OKR cycle, and given the rollout a fair shot. If you signed up, didn't invite anyone, and never logged back in, the 14-day satisfaction guarantee below is the right path.
Section 3 14-day satisfaction guarantee
For everything the adoption guarantee doesn't cover — changed priorities, internal restructuring, a different tool won the bake-off, or you just changed your mind — you have 14 days from the date of purchase to request a full refund.
No reason required. No "but why" emails. We process it.
This applies to:
Monthly subscriptions to Scale or Expand
Annual subscriptions (refunded in full if requested within 14 days of purchase)
Any add-ons purchased at the same time as the subscription
Section 4 Technical issues
If a technical issue prevents you from using OKRs Tool effectively, and our support team can't resolve it within a reasonable timeframe, you're eligible for a full refund — even after the 14-day satisfaction window has passed.
We investigate and respond — usually within 2–4 hours during business hours.
If we can't fix it within a reasonable window (typically 5–10 business days, depending on complexity), and the issue materially prevents you from using the platform, you can request a full refund.
This isn't a loophole for nitpicks — it covers genuine blockers (data not loading, integrations failing, login broken). We've never had to invoke it, and we'd rather fix the issue than refund. But the guarantee exists so you're never stuck.
Which guarantee you're invoking (adoption, satisfaction, or technical)
Optional: any context you want to share. Helpful for us, not required.
We don't use a ticketing system, a refund form, or a chatbot. You email a human (usually Steven), and a human responds. Typical first response: 2–4 hours during business hours.
Section 6 Processing & timing
Approval. We confirm eligibility within 1 business day of receiving your request. For the satisfaction and adoption guarantees, approval is automatic — we're confirming the dates, not deciding whether to refund.
Processing time. Refunds are issued within 10 business days of approval, typically faster.
Refund method. Refunds go back to the original payment method — credit card, ACH, or whatever you used. We don't issue refunds as account credit unless you specifically ask.
Bank timing. Once we issue the refund, your bank may take an additional 3–5 business days to post it. That's their timeline, not ours.
Section 7 Cancellation & access
When a refund is processed, your subscription is automatically cancelled. A few things to know:
Access ends when the refund is approved. You lose access to paid features (Alignment Map, AI insights, SSO, audit logs, etc.) at the moment we confirm the refund. We don't leave the paid features running while processing — that wouldn't be fair to other customers.
Free tier remains. You can keep using Launch (free) for up to 5 users indefinitely — no need to delete your workspace.
Your data isn't deleted automatically. If you want it deleted entirely, mention that in the refund email and we'll handle it. Otherwise, your data sits dormant until you choose to come back, delete it, or cancel the workspace.
Data export. Before cancellation processes, you can export everything from Settings → Export — CSV for OKRs, JSON for the full workspace.
Section 8 Annual subscriptions & prorated refunds
Annual plans get the same guarantees as monthly:
14-day satisfaction window from the start of your annual subscription — full refund.
60% adoption guarantee measured at day 30 of your annual subscription — full refund (of the entire annual fee).
Technical issue refund — full refund regardless of how far into the annual period you are.
Outside those three guarantees, annual subscriptions are not prorated for partial-year cancellations. You can downgrade or cancel at renewal, but the current annual term runs to its end.
This isn't a trick — it's why annual plans are cheaper than monthly. If you want the flexibility of monthly cancellation, choose monthly billing. If you want the discount, choose annual and commit to the year.
Section 9 What this policy doesn't cover
To be transparent about the edges:
Free tier. Launch is already free — there's nothing to refund.
Trial periods. Our 14-day full-feature trial doesn't require a credit card. If you don't convert, no charge — nothing to refund.
Renewals beyond the guarantee windows. Once you're past the 14-day window and the 30-day adoption window, monthly renewals are non-refundable except via the technical-issues clause. Annual renewals follow the same rule unless renewed within an active 14-day window.
Fraudulent chargebacks. We dispute fraudulent chargebacks where we can show the service was delivered as agreed. If you have a legitimate refund request, email us first — we'll always be faster than your bank.
Custom enterprise contracts. If your contract has bespoke refund terms, those override this page.
Section 10 Questions
If anything about this policy is unclear, or if you're weighing whether to invoke one of the guarantees and want to think it through with someone first, email steven@okrstool.com.
We'd rather have an honest conversation up front than process a refund out of frustration. Either way, you have options.
