Why OKRs Tool

Six commitments. Four product views.

A focused product built for VPs and department heads at 50–200 person companies. Flat pricing, fast setup, founder support, and the views you need to run a real OKR cycle — without the enterprise overhead.

The commitments

Six things we ship by default.

Not in rank order. These ship together, in the same product, at flat fees, with the same founder answering support tickets — on every paid plan.

01

Set up in an afternoon

A senior operator self-onboards in a few hours. No consultant, no procurement, no IT review. First check-in cycle inside a week.

02

Flat fee. Cancel anytime.

$0 for 1–5 users. $49/mo for 6–50. $129/mo for 51+ unlimited. Never per-user. Two clicks to cancel from workspace settings — no contact-sales-to-cancel pattern.

03

60% adoption guarantee

If your team doesn't reach 60% adoption in 30 days, you get a full refund. No forms, no disputes. Never once invoked since 2024.

Included on every paid plan
04

Founder support in 2–4 hours

Email Steven and he'll reply personally during EU business hours. Not a tier of support reps — the founder who built the product is the same person answering your tickets.

05

The largest public OKR research dataset

Six research reports. 750+ organizations across six programs. 12,000 objectives and 28,000 KRs analyzed. Free to read, free to cite, no email gate.

06

Five free interactive tools

Quality Grader, Maturity Index, Cascade Visualizer, Check-in Builder, ROI Calculator. All free, no signup, no email.

Built together, on purpose

Each piece reinforces the others.

Fast setup matters less without flat pricing. Flat pricing matters less without founder-level support. The six commitments and four product views are designed to ship in the same product, at the same price, with the same team behind them — so you get a coherent system, not a bolt-on of features.

The Momentum Map

A G2-style quadrant view of every OKR in your org. Two axes: progress on the horizontal, momentum on the vertical. Every objective sits in one of four named zones — and the position tells you what to do next.

No dashboards to dig through. No twelve-step report-builders. One view tells you where to focus, who needs support, and what's quietly slipping before it's too late.

  • RisingLower progress, but building velocity. Protect the runway.
  • LeadingHigh progress, strong momentum. Celebrate.
  • At RiskLow progress, no momentum. Intervene this week.
  • CoastingHigh progress, losing momentum. Ship and close, or push further?

Strategy Coverage diagnostic

Map your company strategy themes against the OKRs your teams are actually working on. Spot the gaps — the priorities with no team OKRs underneath them — before the quarter starts, not at the end.

Strategy that doesn't translate into OKRs is just a document. Strategy Coverage shows you where the translation broke, theme by theme, before you commit a cycle's worth of work to the wrong things.

  • Surfaces strategic themes with zero KR coverage — the silent gaps
  • Flags themes with too many overlapping KRs — duplicated effort
  • Shows coverage strength by team — which functions are pulling their weight
  • Recommendable into cycle planning — run before kickoff, fix on the spot

Your OKR Journey

Cycle-over-cycle health trends for your org. See whether your team is getting better, the same, or worse across cycles 1, 2, 3, and beyond — not the industry, not the benchmark, you.

The data behind the 51% → 79% completion compounding pattern from our benchmark, applied to your own organization. The single most important question after a cycle: is this getting healthier or unhealthier? Your OKR Journey answers it.

  • Tracks completion rate, check-in cadence, ownership clarity, and alignment depth per cycle
  • Compares your trajectory against the OKRs Tool benchmark (200+ orgs)
  • Surfaces specific cycle-over-cycle regressions and improvements
  • Useful in board reviews — "we're on the compounding curve" beats anecdotes

The MCP server

Talk to your OKRs directly from Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT Desktop, or any MCP-compatible AI assistant. Generate updates, query progress, draft OKRs from inside your AI chat — no copy-paste, no context switching.

Ask “which of my Q3 KRs are at risk?” in Claude and get a real, structured answer pulled from your live workspace. The Q3 board update writes itself in a single prompt.

  • Bidirectional: read your OKRs and create/update them from inside the AI chat
  • Works with any MCP client — Claude Desktop, Cursor, custom agents
  • Authenticated per workspace — only your data, only your team
  • Available on the Expand plan

When not to choose us

Honest about what we don't do.

A focused product means saying no to things. We'd rather you pick the right tool the first time — even if it's not us.

If you need a full HR platform — payroll, compensation bands, headcount planning, learning, deep engagement surveys — we don't do that. We do OKRs, performance reviews, and 1:1s — not the rest of HR.
If your company is 1,000+ employees with formal procurement — the enterprise vendors are built for that scale. We're built for 50–200 person teams that move faster.
If you require an independent SOC 2 Type II audit certificate for OKRs Tool itself — we don't have one and we're not pursuing one in 2026. Our platform runs on SOC 2 Type II-certified infrastructure (Cloudflare, AWS, Supabase, Resend), so the underlying stack is audited — but OKRs Tool as a product is not.
If you need the product in a language other than English — we're English-only today. If you need Spanish, Portuguese, or another language this quarter, we're not your fit.
If you're a solopreneur or a 5-person startup — a spreadsheet works. Save the SaaS budget for a problem that scales with you.
